10-Piece Cookware Set: Calphalon Premier Space-Saving Stainless Steel Pots and Pans Review

Love this set. I had an aluminum calphalon set, non-stick. Unfortunately, the aluminum in the pan warped fairly quickly, but the stainless steel version proved very durable. As I get smaller and smaller, the nesting form factor was really what I needed. The compact design of the lids really changes how everything works. I'm a fan.

I LOVE stainless steel Calphalon pots. They cook great and I can say they will last for years. The only thing I didn't like about these pots was the flat lid. We bought this in a big sale so I decided to give it a try and of course I love pots but I'm not crazy about lids. I liked the stackability and compactness of this pot and pan set. But be careful; This is achieved through a steep design tradeoff. no conventional handles on the lid! By regular lid handles I mean a handle or similar handle in the center of a pot or pot lid. These lids don't have that (because otherwise they wouldn't be stackable). This shows the quality of the stainless steel set. Stackability is crucial for our small kitchen. Will last longer than you, but a possible downside is that they're heavy, like using a cast iron skillet all the time, especially a saucepan. I don't care about the weight, but my girlfriend does. As it is not non-stick I recommend heating it before adding oil/food - once hot add oil/non-dairy oil for the best non-stick result (if you want to fry an egg, e.g. example).
