Works well. Doesn't leak

Works well. Doesn't leak. I hooked it up to our outside faucet for late fall and wanted a flow connection to allow the faucet to drain and prevent freezing/bursting pipe issues.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Security

DO NOT BUY. Suitable for nozzles and hose nozzles

grows in less than a month. The plugs started to "stick" when I pulled the 2 pieces off. Eventually had to give it up after it became increasingly difficult to connect/disconnect. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Bearing rust: car care

Good for connecting my RV's hose to a somewhat inaccessible water inlet. Two stars off because Camco didn't spend the extra 5 cents on stainless steel ball bearings. The carbon steel bearings began to rust after a few days.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Negative impression

Easy to use: jets and hose nozzles

I bought this product to attach to a class C urban RV water jet. This allows me to easily connect and disconnect a standard garden hose to an RV water system, which speeds up camp setup and teardown. It is mostly made of metal and makes a solid impression.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • old

works better than i thought

works better than i thought very bad i can't just order plugs for extra plugs well after a few days of use the plug is stuck as the metal is rusting. something not made of the right metals to keep it from rusting. You must take it out now.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • negative gift

Great for grooming

Works great. There is a small leak which is not a problem for me as I use it regularly to connect a garden hose to the kitchen sink to water the plants on the patio. This may not be the best option if you want a permanent print connection. No signs of corrosion after 3 months of use with lightly chlorinated tap water.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Out of style

Great for frosty climates

Great product especially if you need to use the hose in the winter when it can freeze you get a good tight seal and when it's time to put the faucet cap on just push and you're done good to go When you disconnect the water, the water flows freely out of the faucet, so you know there's nothing left to damage the pipe.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Protection

Will break over time: Nozzles and hose tails

I bought one of these in 2014 (weekly indoor use) and another in 2016 (sometimes outdoors). Now 2017 both are out of service (do not hold together when fastened) - rusted in the ball bearing locations. I applied CLR rust remover and oiled it. They still don't work well. I replaced them with blocks without rubber but heavier and made of solid brass.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

Not all ends fit after a few months.

They worked at first, but there are a few problems. First, they don't mate with the quick disconnects that come with Costco's high quality nozzle kit. This dropped my connection plan. I need more of one brand or another. Also, the rubber rings on both ends easily come loose if gripped too tightly. But even worse, after a few months, one of the female ends became too short for connections for some reason. Aggravating!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
