To stay updated! Small size, reverse winding, difficult to install.

I needed to replace a lanyard on my RV and ordered this USA made product thinking it would be a quality product. First thing I found out was that it is reverse winding or left hand thread if you will and Valtera threaded fittings will not work. Then when I tried to put it on the mortise fittings I found it smaller - see photo. It took me more than two hours to connect the fittings. The instructions say to soften the vinyl with warm water to make it easier to bond, but the heat will shrink it…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

  • Lots of stuff

Shorter than advertised, cannot attach to fittings, poor durability

They COULD be 20 feet long, but to get them to 20 feet you have to stretch them enough to definitely untie any zip ties you use to secure the other end. They are also hard-to-reach fittings; The holes are too small. It is recommended to soak the ends in hot water for 30 seconds. Guess what happens then? They are wet and even harder to grab. Few things are less fun than wrestling with sewer cover fittings and trying to attach the wrong hose sticking the end of the wire in your palm and slowly…

This could be what you are looking for.

That's how they come, but you'll need to add a Camco 39413 sewer fitting for a straight hose (about $3.00 more). The hose fits quite snugly into the adapter, which strangely has no thread for the spiral hose. but instead the end of the hose slides over the speed bump on the adapter, so be patient when you lure it in, but when you're done you'll be pretty pleased you don't have to add a hose clamp. Plastic storage tubes are rated on the side. My toy trailer has a roughly 8" x 8" square door with

I made a homemade burner out of it. works perfectly!

Can't tell how it works for the intended purpose. But if you came here looking for a DIY "Noggle" (car air conditioner extension for kids in rear-facing car seats), you've come to the right place! The plastic is easy to puncture (for zip ties) but won't tear, meaning it will last a long time in the car. Twenty feet is OVER THE HEAD, just enough to reach from our CRV's front air vents, through the console, to the back seat and the reclined center headrest to blow gentle air on a child's face. It

Small, fragile and unusable

I wanted this bare hose with no fittings to replace an apparently identical hose that had developed a tear. I was hoping to save a few bucks by reusing old fixtures that were still fine. Other reviewers have mentioned issues fitting this hose to their fittings, but I figured - 3" hose is 3" hose - why wouldn't it fit? I'm so stupid! I spent at least an hour wrestling with this piece of material but couldn't get it to fit any of my old fittings. I've tried hot water and a heat gun as others have

Very difficult to try.

This hose needs to be widened a little so that it can be easily pushed onto the fitting. Do not attempt the procedure if you are not seated. You have to hold it by the fitting with both hands or you fail. You start with a diagonal placement, securing each part that lands on the fitting with the fingers of one hand, and then with great force push the next part of the end bracket onto the fitting. You have to keep doing this until all the hoses are on the fitting, not an easy task. Remember to…
