defective product. Water doesn't flow through the straw as intended

Received bottle and hand washed straight away. The mouthpiece slips off easily, too easily. for cleaning. Either because the mouthpiece breaks the seal or because the bottle is just suction, you won't be able to draw water through! Now I have a new bottle that doesn't even work properly. I've tried adjusting the straw and mouthpiece and nothing seems to work. It just sucks in some water and a lot of air. ****Update: When I contacted support I was told that if there was a defect I would need to…

Leaks Galore! sports water bottle

I have been using the CamelBak Eddy for years and had to replace the bite valve as my toddler kept sticking his finger in it and eventually broke the silicone. After the redesign I had to buy a brand new bottle. I bought an eddy+ and it arrived today. I'll send it back tomorrow. The bite valve doesn't engage, which is off-putting, but the main issue is leakage. Flows from the base of the cap and the bite valve. This new design is just awful. A slightly different color wasn't a deal breaker, but

There is no hole in the mouthpiece and the child may gag

Is it typical that you have to cut a hole in the mouth valve? I found it odd that it turned out to be completely airtight, unlike any other 5 CamelBaks I've bought or one of the replacement Oral Valves I've bought recently. It's also another style where you can remove the mouthpiece so we'll see how long it lasts before my son loses it at school. Now that I think about it, it could pose a choking hazard for kids who take it out and put everything in their mouths. Probably easier to clean…

Not as good as the old model

I have an old Camelback Eddy and I love it and use it every day. So I opted for a newer model. The only thing I like more is that I can now put 2 fingers in the loop (I have big hands) and the style is a bit slimmer and more minimal. Up close, and if you feel and look at it, it now looks like a cheaper bottle. The drinking feeling is now much worse. The old one was hard or hard to bite off and anything in between and the water came out. With this new model, you have to bite into a much more…

The leak-proof one-handed water bottle is ideal for on the go.

The main reason and my favorite feature of this water bottle is Camelbak's "Bite and Drink" straw technology. I have bought this water bottle on and off for the past 12 years. I just got my forty one. However, the bottle does have some disadvantages, and here they are: The lid should NOT be washed in the dishwasher. I know from experience that this destroys the rubber valve, making the straw basically impossible to use. This makes cleaning difficult. The rubber mouthpiece is removable so it can

Eddy+ not as good as the original

Purchased in December, today 29th February. We got the original Eddy for my 10 year old for school last year and it has lasted the full year and a half this year (and is actually still in good shape apart from a backpack fight, apart from a few cosmetic scratches). , that's fine, and he's actually using it again after Eddy+ let us down). This has 3 times so far lost the bite valve which never fell off the old one so we had to buy replacements but now there is also a piece of rubber that the…

It was a terrible substitute.

My family and I have loved and used CamelBak water bottles exclusively for years. They were easy to clean, easy for small children to use, and easy to replace with little wear on the spouts and valves. As they each get a year older, it's time for some more opportunities for their school days and camping trips. We were all excited to pick out new water bottles. These new water bottles are terrible. Not only is the Spectra not the advertised color (okay, we can live with that), but now all three…

Click and buy, bite and drink, drink and enjoy.

I've had it for a few months now and it withstood the hurricane. in the dishwasher, drops on concrete, backpack (no spills). By the way, on the subject of spills, you can carry it upside down in a backpack full of important papers and sleep soundly - it won't spill unless you have a flawless, properly capped bottle. Of course, cold water means condensation, and the bottle can't take that, it's sweating profusely. I usually like room temperature so it's fine there. I haven't tried it with juice…

A stunning redesign of a classic bottle!

I've been using Camelbak Eddy bottles for at least 10 years. These are the perfect bottles to take to work, the streets or the gym. I use my bottles primarily at the gym where I can easily carry them around and quickly drink water when I need it. What I love about Eddy Bottles is that they are strong and leak proof. I never have to worry about my bottles bursting when dropped or running all over my backpack and I've dropped plenty of them! The new Eddy+ bottle design brings some welcome…

Changes (negative) in tip material and bite valve design. DELIGHTED

I've been buying bottles of CamelBak Eddy for over 10 years and never thought I would ever dislike them. I have never had a broken bottle and whenever the cap started leaking or had some other cap issue CamelBak always sent me a replacement cap which fixed the problem. My last Eddy rolled around on the hospital room floor in March and I didn't try to clean or use it for a while after that and I was just too pissed off trying to clean it. So I recently ordered a new Eddy from Revain. CamelBak…
