Camelbak are the only bottles we buy for ourselves and I love that they make them for kids. We started with our 5 year old son who as a kid liked how easy it was to drink from them and the fact that they are long lasting and don't spill was a huge plus for us. It's probably as early as 7 as the photos wear out and the rigs wear out, but that's to be expected with so much wear and tear. We have now ordered one for our one year old daughter. These are terrible water bottles. They're cute and easy for kids to use, that's the only reason I'm giving them two stars. They are NOT leak proof. Oh, they're in the beginning, but don't be fooled. The drinking valve breaks very easily in the corners and starts to leak. I bought three for my kids and it took three weeks for all of them to start leaking. I then bought 4 sets of replacement valves (for $10) just in case I had bad valves the first time. nope! Leaking again three weeks later. Of…

3 year old daughter has been training hard with this cup for the past 6 months. I taught her how to use the camelback bite valve when she was over 1 year old and so on this mug she has a lot of fun biting, biting, holding and chewing on the bite valve. Carries like a soldier. She loves the unicorn and rainbow stickers, which have held up remarkably well. Unfortunately, there are a few design flaws that make me less of a fan than my kid.
