Failure after 10 hours of use

The bag was badly leaking at the seam after less than 10 hours of use. The bag was never loaded with anything and was not near the cutter. It's just badly done.

Worth the price for the upgrade.

I had and still have a regular camel tank, but when I saw the closed part of my mouth I had to jump onto this one. When I put my backpack down I don't have to worry about the mouthpiece hitting the ground or anything now that it's closed. The lid is easy to remove and put on, and the locking tab is easier to manipulate than the original model. On hot days, an insulated hose is good.

Much better than standard

I have a new Camelbak and I hate the blue cameras that come with them (no mouthpiece caps or detachable hose connections). I prefer the Mil models because the bite valve is closed and can be taken apart for cleaning (the hose can also be removed). Took it on a 60 mile cancer walk and it never leaked. Always remember to turn the cap a quarter turn to the left before turning it to the right. People who say they're leaking probably don't take this small step - it aligns the bolt grooves for a…
