Best pack I've ever used

Rated! Great mid pack. Stows everything I need and sits much lower on the back for stability. The tool bag is great. I replaced the large backpack with this one, but it still fit everything I was carrying. I'm a bit Clydesdale and the waist belt was just right. what I didn't expect! Bonus! The tank cap closes easily and very securely. I haven't been on the trip long enough to use the water, but I look forward to seeing how well the strap will perform as the levels drop.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Unsure

Water is stored in the lower back of the camel's back.

So comfortable and fits on my body. You don't even know it's you. I love how the water bud is right at the waist with its own separate zipper so I don't feel the weight of the water. Water carries a lot of weight, but you have to have it. As well as all the compartments and pockets so I can keep everything separate and find it quickly on the trip. The back of the camelback is soft while allowing air to circulate so the back doesn't sweat. It costs money.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

The best package for the price

The price is worth it. Fit and finish are first class. Easy to fill, good firm bubble door. Since I could carry about 3 liters, I needed another backpack. Plenty of room for food, a light jacket and goggles if needed. The toolkit is a nice bonus. The only downside is that the drinking tube hook is almost useless (not too bad) and the velcro can be felt through the shirt. Either cut the Velcro or untangle the excess length of the strap so the Velcro cannot touch you. Not that bad. Overall…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Great product but difficult to fill

Great product with poor design. The idea behind this backpack is to keep the weight as low as possible, I get that and it works very well. The problem is how the bladder fits into the backpack. There is a zipper on the back of the backpack to access the hydration bladder. The space is small and perfect for an empty hydration bladder, but once the hydration bladder is 3 liters full it's really hard to fit in the camel. bags. Plenty of storage space for spare parts, energy snacks, etc.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • New competition arrived

This pack is AMAZING

I LOVE this pack. Fit and finish are excellent. Keeps weight down and stays securely on your back without tipping over your head on steep descents. Holds 3 liters but no need to carry that much (1 pint = 1 pound) unless you need it. Holds a ton of stuff and I love the hip belt pockets for quick access to gel etc, although I wish they could fit my iPhone 6 (I have to stash it in the back). Also, the tank opens/closes easier than my old CamelBak tanks and dispenses more water at once than the old

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Not the best

I like this pack - Accessories

I like this pack. I was using a much smaller Camelback that could stow my wallet, phone, snacks and water, but I wanted to take my tools off the bike. The water bladder in this backpack is at the bottom of the backpack, next to my lower back, and I feel very secure. The interior is perfect for storing tools (comes with a small tool roll), a spare hose and room for a light coat or hoodie when you need to shed layers. But it's not too big, like carrying a full backpack on your back. I bought an…

Best MTB backpack I've ever owned

Best MTB backpack I've ever owned. I tried the waist style and it just bounced all over the place and the hydration tube kept dripping off the magnet. As a result, the water bladder sits perfectly on the lower back and hips. Comfortable shoulder straps and good breathability. Enough room for what I usually pack (Crank Brothers multi-tool, a roll of Wander TP, a spare 27.5" tube, a pair of Rock Bow, some gels, keys, phone, wallet and lip balm). There is a zip pocket on the left back and elastic…
