Said this in another review. Spend a ton of money to have campy stuff, why take the risk with regular cables that can damage the switch.

Lubricate them well to extend their life. They last longer than shimaNO shifter cables, but still wear out after about two seasons in hilly terrain.

The cables work great on my friction derailleur and Campagnolo Record rear derailleur. It has a smaller diameter than the old cables. I'll have to see if it lasts that long.

My group is Campy so I decided to buy their cables. They appear to be soldered all the way down and therefore less likely to stretch or loosen. Niagara Cycle Works was a pleasure to deal with.
