This may not work as well as a foam pillow. I didn't notice the inflatable feature when I bought it and I wouldn't have bought it if I did.

These insulating pads are the perfect solution when you're woken up to bright sunlight streaming through your RV's skylight! Each has an inner inflatable cushion that fits snugly against the reflective cover. No need for permanent or semi-permanent adhesives; they fit perfectly into the sunroof and do not fall out while driving. Much cheaper than other fixes.

I was concerned they might not fit properly - they fit well but most likely they won't stay in place when traveling which is not a problem for me. I love that they "drain" flat for summer storage. I hope the inflatable pillow will last a long time, it's a plastic material, similar to an inflatable beach ball. I used an oil-free, low-pressure air compressor for filling so that no contaminants (oil, condensation, etc.) could damage the material.

It barely went in the hole and with the slightest hit it could fall out, but I think if you don't hit it everything will be fine. I was willing to use this inflatable type instead of foam to deflate for off-season storage, but I didn't stand a chance. It is advertised with two packs but only received one. Seller says Revain is handling all order issues and Revain doesn't have the capacity to do so so it's being returned.
