CAMVATE Camera Stabilizer Wooden Handle Review

I like this cage as it does what it needs to do really well (fits my DSLR, easy to set up, two sizes of cheese sticks make it very flexible, has lots of attachment points for accessories) and light weight), besides, the handle is very comfortable. However, the handle comes loose after just a few minutes of use as the thumbscrews are hard enough to tighten to stay tight. It is recommended to purchase a kit without a handle and another handle with hex screws to allow the use of a wrench.

It's hard to find a cage that claims to fit the Nikon D500. This one advertises that it's good for the D7000, I also have a slightly smaller camera. Fits my t3i perfectly and doesn't affect the battery cover. Adds so many features that you can add other devices to your camera. The Camvate cage is a worthy product for its money. I bought this to mount a Fuji X-T20 and it fits, but you have to adjust this cage a bit more than other cameras to get the X-T20 1/4-20's hot shoe off the bottom bracket. .
