Candelabra to Standard Socket Adapter Review

The cylindrical shape of the enlarger prevented the base from fitting fully into my ceiling fan's chandelier base. A more tapered design would have allowed the bell to fit completely within the socket. I also tried the socket in the ceiling light. Bought one of these to see if it works. And so it was. They all expand the base, which is the problem. It's as short as they could make it. However, the bulbs protrude slightly from the ceiling fan. I hate candelabra bases. I hate that fan manufacturers have been forced (by the government) to put these stupid stands in their products. More expensive lamps that don't last as long.
