A Must-Have for Bike Maintenance

When I tried this tool, it made the installation process of my crown race so much easier and faster. It perfectly set the race in place without any issues or damage. The material is sturdy and designed to last. The only downside is that it's quite pricey, but it's definitely worth the investment for those who do frequent bike maintenance.

Pros
  • Easy and efficient installation
Cons
  • Pricey

Went like clockwork.

As the name suggests, this thing (and some PVC pipe) was a great solution for installing my weak little crown race on my beefy new fork. I "probably" could have done this with just PVC pipe, but didn't really want to risk it. Worth the money if you have one and really avoid the risk. Four stars only because no matter how well it works, it's still a waste of money for a tool that you might only use every few years and might not even need in the end.

can't install crown cage

I'm having trouble finding the right tool to install the crown cage (the ring that the sealed headset bearing sits on) for my Cane Creek IS52. This part is the same shape as the crown track itself, making it the exact opposite of what I need to set up the crown track. I don't know what it's supposed to be for as nobody should be using a bearing to push in a headset cup or anything like that this tool allows for. I plan on rolling my own and probably turning a piece of material on a lathe or…
