I like the colors; this will make it easier to find the right bit when i need it. Although I'm not a big fan of the centering feature. The chamfer on the working end of these bits is very small, which limits the size of the countersunk holes they can be used with. It doesn't take long to shift these bits around with a hand drill. Probably better in a drill press, but the one I just used on a very small screw and hinge combo was questionable.

Media could not be loaded. These drills are the perfect solution when you need something centered, precise and in the right place. I use them to install some shelves that had a very specific hole in the back so I had to fit perfectly. It's hard enough figuring out how to sell, but once you've done that, using self-centering beds was the best way to get it in just the right place, they're also great for hinges and other things that something like that requires precision in the perfect spot.…

These work but need to be tested first. I decided to test each bit on a piece of wood. What I noticed is that not all sleeves slide smoothly. The next step was to unscrew each of them to see why. First, not all of them unscrewed easily, not because they were too tight, but because there was something in the grooves. I found the feathers to look old or too long.
