Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

A great photo lens for a reporter shooting in extreme conditions (in moderation, of course). In a reportage, it is simply irreplaceable in terms of its focal lengths and aperture. You can envy those who began to photograph with this lens. On my lens, out of 300 frames, only one in the report smears. Great in the studio (if you don't have fixes). The price is not small, of course, but for the stub - it is (comparatively) worth its money

Pros
  • Very light, sharp at all focal lengths (f / 4), focusing speed, good stub, price (compared to other lenses), VERY GOOD DUST PROOF!
Cons
  • Protection of the "trunk" (when dust and sand got in (motocross report), it creaked for a couple of weeks, but nothing got inside). For my copy. adjustment required

This is Canon's most basic, more or less decent zoom. Real working focal lengths are 28-95 mm, the more extreme ones look worse. Working hole from 4.5. At 4 in extreme positions it can soap. I don’t write about the drawing, this is a universal zoom for 25k. For artistic photography, I always take a fix. Canon EF 24-105 is a travel option. Of course, the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM is better and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM is much better, but the price categories are different, they…

Pros
  • Versatile, good colors, reasonably well made, good sharpness for zoom, stabilizer, constant aperture, convenient focal range, difficult to light even in the opposite sun. Well, in general, everything is written about.
Cons
  • For me, the main drawback is a noticeable deterioration in its performance when the illumination decreases. More noticeably than in other lenses, sharpness, contrast, colors are reduced. And its large length, which also affects the length of the exposure. Everything else has been written about in abundance.

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

Happy as an elephant I bought it from a friend in the fall for 20 sput, he switched to 28-300L, he is also pleased that it was on time) Before that, I used 50mm 1.8 for almost 1.5 years, the time has come when it's time to change the glass according to the sensations. I screwed it up, the first sensations are yes, THINGS) The quality of the pictures has increased significantly due to comfortable focal lengths, street portraits from 105, which on the crop turn into quite edible 168mm on a hole

Pros
  • Price, sharpness, stabilization, color reproduction, excellent backlight retention, convenience, solid design, lens hood. Very comfortable with my 60D, looks solid, shoots no worse)
Cons
  • The trunk leaves if you hang the photo on your shoulder, but for me personally this is not a problem. The need for adjustment, but again, this is not a drawback. Haven't found it in six months.

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

took in 2022 in conjunction with 40D, in Las Vegas. saving about $ 200 to the detriment of the guarantee (canon has its own in the 2022, not worldwide). for a couple of years it was the only lens, then it was 10-22 and now in conjunction with 16-35. passed fires and waters and never failed. after arriving in South Africa, the focus ring began to creak slightly (there was a hell of a wind in the deserts of Bolivia, quite expected in conjunction with fine sand). I gave it to the service, at…

Pros
  • great lens for the money. I would even say - an excellent universal lens for the money. a kind of workhorse of the intermediate level.
Cons
  • yes and no, really no. MB is heavy, but this is a fee for L.

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

I took it from my hands for 25 thousand, when it cost about 35-50 thousand in stores, after price increases. In general, I am very satisfied, in the whale 18-55 I did not like the sharpness, but here everything is fine. I like everything, stub, sharpness, autofocus, appearance. I am very satisfied with the purchase, now I don’t drive a bunch of glasses, everything is with me along with 24-105

Pros
  • - Sharpness (better compared to whale 18-55) - Versatility of focal lengths - "Elka" - Very fast and fairly quiet autofocus - Solid appearance
Cons
  • - 24 on the edges of the grease - at 105 slight soapiness

I am happy with everything, the product matches the description.

After the purchase, I immediately tested it with tables, and came to the conclusion: 1) it does not wash the edges of the frame, but they are simply darker (i. E. vignetting), which degrades the quality of the image at the edges in jpeg. 2) I confirm that the lens aperture 50/1.4 F4 is equal to aperture 24-105/4 F4.5, i. E. he is darker. In general, the lens is good, high-quality pictures in the daytime, my copy is sharp at F4 and with a decrease in aperture, the quality improves only at the

Pros
  • Workmanship, stabilizer, sharp from F4.
Cons
  • Vignetting
