Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

The lens is light, because made of plastic. But it makes a very good impression with the build quality and clarity of the inscriptions. Includes back and front covers. The focal length and focus rings rotate smoothly, without backlash. When shooting nature and the test table, sharpness is high, and almost the same, over the entire field of the frame, starting from aperture 5.6. When shooting nature and indoors with the camera horizontal, curvilinear distortion is minimal even at 10mm. When…

Pros
  • Weight, sharpness, stabilizer, price
Cons
  • Low aperture, no lens hood, no splash protection

I recommend to buy, the product is of high quality.

The most worthy representative of optical practicality. The viewing angle is amazing. Blockages at the edges are tight, but without them, nowhere with budget glass. There was no darkening in the corners. Hung on 70D & 80D Canon Chromatic aberrations also do not ring, drawing attention to themselves. The work is very executive and what is extremely important Nimble without unnecessary noise! According to the quality of the materials (according to me) it needs care and cleanliness. Since it does…

Pros
  • Accessibility, uniqueness in the price and functional segment
Cons
  • Not essential to pay attention to.

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

If you are going to buy the most expensive width (by type, well, probably the best), then take your time, otherwise you will definitely fly by in terms of quality. Canon 10-18 really gave out a super product at a low price. Do not look at its plasticity and apparent lack of solidity. Better be glad that you will carry a light camera and get amazing sharp photos, because this is the main thing in width. When I chose a lens for myself, I compared it with sigma 10-20, and with canon 10-22, and in…

Pros
  • But what can I say, I'm sure this is the best crop width, and also the cheapest! A very working stub, the lack of aperture ratio is more than compensated for by them. Sharp all over the field! Detailing and color reproduction are top notch.
Cons
  • There is no hood, it gives the impression of a frivolous whale lens, but all this is trifles, after you sit down at the computer to process photos and see the picture.

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

Initially, I chose for a very long time between this model, Canon 10-22 USM and Sigma 10-20. After a careful comparison, I realized that I definitely win 10-18. There are many reasons for this. 1 - Price, this is the cheapest lens of the above. 2 - Stabilizer, which increases the range of use and shooting conditions. (10-22 USM and 10-20 Sigma do not have a stabilizer). 3 - Chromatic aberrations are an order of magnitude smaller than those of competitors, the picture is sharper. I would be…

Pros
  • 1 - Price. 2 - Sharp, pleasing shots. 3 - Stabilizer. 4 - Weight. Practical. Very convenient to carry. 5 - Focal length. Now you can capture almost everything in the lens, while the distortion is not very spherical like the FishEye, due to which the use of the lens is wider than with conventional fisheyes.
Cons
  • 1 - Plastic construction and bayonet. 2 - Aperture 4.5-5.6. If it were 3.5 or better, the lens would have been larger in size and the price tag would have been an order of magnitude higher. 3 - Slight vignetting at full aperture. 4 - Catches "bunnies". I highly recommend buying a UV filter and an EW-73C hood. (Not a drawback, but rather a logical consequence of such a lens)

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

photographed temples in cambodia and where 18-135 there was not enough space (corner) . with this fotkal with a bang! there was still room I really liked shooting on it in the subway, it’s not big in itself, it doesn’t rush into the eyes . for that, the angle allows you to observe the picture as a whole, and the STM drive does not give extra sounds for recording in general, a good lens, it’s a pity that I had to sell it when changing the camera

Pros
  • + detail + wide angle + stub + autofocus + low weight +short focus distance + silent
Cons
  • perhaps, I emphasize! maybe a little soapy because of the stub mount - plastic (but it's true, nitpicking . he doesn't need a steel mount, because the weight is negligible for a lens)
