Excellent student camera

Camera delivered very quickly. This is also good because I needed it after a previous camera I bought from someone else didn't work and I had photo projects planned. Great for my student projects! Thank you! Would buy from seller again.

Good entry-level DSLR

I bought this camera set for my 13 year old son for Christmas because I have a Canon EOS A2E and lots of lenses for him to use with this camera. The Rebel 2000 is fantastically light, which is amazing compared to all of Canon's more expensive SLRs (A2E, EOS-3, etc.). However, it should be noted that while the camera accepts all EOS lenses, the lens mount is plastic, so you probably wouldn't want to use it as an extra housing on a jungle expedition (but chances are, if you have an EOS 3 you…

Great value for beginners

I bought this camera with little camera knowledge but wanted one that I could use to expand my capabilities later. I read the manual and realized that most of the time I would use the automatic feature. The guide is short but effective for beginners. All my photos so far have been taken with Kodak 400 film and they are very sharp and clear. The evening shots I took in Vegas were taken with the auto preset for darker conditions which was amazing! Great camera!

This is my first DSLR, although I've borrowed others from friends for a while. I bought it just before spending three months driving cross country and shooting in various conditions.
