💨 FAN CAPACITOR CBB61 10uf 250V 2 WIRE: Reliable Performance for Effective Fan Operation Review

It took a while to get here but it worked. I installed both capacitors but only connected one. If I run into problems in the future, all I have to do is switch connections. You can see the fan is on the roof and the connectors are inside under the roof.

My Austin Air HM400 air filter condenser failed after 5 years. This capacitor works as a perfect replacement. It only took 30 minutes to disassemble the device, install the cover and screw everything back together. So far very satisfied.

This capacitor is too big for a 24 inch fan and won't fit in the case. It may be suitable for an air conditioner or a fridge, but I'm not sure. I think these things should have a specific model number clearly stated on the item so everyone can get what they want.

Maybe just me, but while it's listed as exactly what I took out of a broken fan, it just doesn't fire up with the same force as before. Before that it was vroom - turned off at full power. now it's more whaah, whaah, whaah. I'll keep it as at least the fan is working again but it doesn't seem to be giving the same performance as the old one.
