Perfect for my needs.

I make two containers of this every morning. Takes maybe 1.5 minutes. to fill and add coffee and only 6 min brew and dig into a double metal container. Warning, the container gets quite "warm", almost hot, so I pour the coffee into my 16 oz. travel mug. This is my second unit. A few years later my first one had jammed a switch and stopped working. It only costs about $49. In my opinion it's worth it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Approximately

Only lasted a year

I've had this coffee maker for a little over a year. It was a great little machine and I really liked its ease of use, compact size and quality of coffee. What frustrates me is that it doesn't seem to be working. Last week he only filtered about 75% of the water. After cleaning and retesting, it still only filters 75% of the water. I thought this car would last more than a year :/ but now I have to look for a new brand.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • For pensioners

This single cup capresso coffee maker is AWESOME!

Firstly, it's very easy to use and doesn't take up much counter space at all, plus it's lightweight if you need to move it for any reason. I'm happy to report that it makes VERY HOT, VERY STRONG coffee with no bitterness. The beer is supposed to be brewed at 200 degrees and certainly lives up to this expectation. I've been waiting for a quality brewery like this for a long time and Capresso came forward and delivered a really great product. Buy without hesitation.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

It brews quickly, the cup is not insulated. Should be $25

I like the speed at which this little coffee maker brews coffee. Coffee does not retain heat at all. No isolation. I have a mug that fits perfectly so I'm giving it four stars. Also make sure when you fill the water there is a hole at the back and if you put too much water it will spill all over the counter. It will also drip 30 seconds to a minute after the brewing process has finished, so leave your mug there or place a paper towel underneath.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Finally 200 degrees coffee!

I bought a used Capresso 425 and it arrived broken but I gave it a try and was impressed with the overall design etc but especially the temperature of the water dispensed. I used the Theropen instant reading and got readings in the high 190's with a peak as high as 200, all water, no coffee in the basket. I returned the damaged unit and ordered a new one which we used for 1 week. In this case, the temperature test reached a maximum value of 203 degrees. I grind my coffee (Costco) with a grinder

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

UPDATE to "Needs to cool after each brew. "

UPDATE --- After two years of satisfactory use, this coffee maker stopped brewing a full cup and some water remained in the tank. Other reviewers have also raised this issue. I have tried the vinegar cleaning procedure several times with no success. I was forced to switch to another brand. I'm revising my previous 3 stars to 5 stars. This coffee machine has been working perfectly for me for over a year, so it deserves more stars. I'm just a guy who drinks one cup of tea a day, so I can't pay…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Very happy. Great coffee that is easy to make. Goodbye Kerig!

I spent hours researching alternatives to Keurig when ours died, including large drip machines, French presses, manual methods, and personal coffee makers. I bought Capresso On The Go based on the reviews and ease of use. Capresso is a great alternative to Keurig. We have had many Keurig coffee makers over the years and have never been able to make a good cup of coffee. Also, they always break within a year or two. The Capresso coffee machine makes excellent coffee. You can adjust the strength…

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Not bad
