Description of ๐Ÿพ Premium Quality 30-Count PVC Heat Shrink Capsules for Wine Bottles โ€“ Elegant Matte Black Bottle Sleeves with Tear Tab for Professional and Home use

Shrink before drink - These quality PVC heat shrink capsules are made for sealing bottle necks with style! They are commonly used to provide wine bottles a sophisticated look and ensure integrity. Polished design - these shink capsules give a distinctive matte effect and have an elegant grape-shaped top design. The stylish golden tear tabs located on the side make the bottle reopening easy and satisfying. Due to these qualities countless European wineries use these capsules on a daily basis. Easy to use - these capsules can be firmly put on various bottle necks in a matter of seconds. A professional heat shrink machine does the trick, however there are other great methods that require no special equipment (ex. boiling water method - see step-by-step guide). Suitable for a wide range of activities - these capsules are equally suited for experts in the wine cellar, enthusiastic DIY wine makers, kitchen chefs and during various events where you need to reseal the half-empty wine bottle.

Worked great - wine making

We used them to steal some extra alcohol on the cruise. They worked great. I also have to mention that the cruise was amazing.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Can't remember

Excellent product

It was amazingly easy. Ruined the first one by leaving it in the water for too long. All my fault! A quick jump and you have the shop's professional seal of approval. I will buy again and again.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Poor set

Very tight - won't work with some thick glass bottles

We have some EU standard bottles - very cool, very stylish and heavy but the necks are a bit big. They are so small that they are not suitable for these thick glass-necked bottles. We ended up trying olive oil as a lube to get them working and when you heat them they either pop or the tongue pulls out on its own. I recommend buying a small amount and trying it out with your bottles first before buying a large bag. Saves a lot of frustration.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Quick and easy for kitchen and dining areas

I purchased this product to transport alcohol on a cruise ship. I bought bottles of wine with a twist and substituted spirits for the wine. I screwed the lid back on and then put one of those wine seals on top - very easy. In the beginning I had a bit of trial and error. You can only dip the lid in boiling water for 1-2 seconds, otherwise it will start wrinkling, leaving an open hole. Anyway, he did what I needed and went through security with no questions asked. Will definitely buy again forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Amazing seals, wish they were better rated.

When I first tried these seals on my honey bottles, I knew it was the ticket that would set it apart from other honeys on the market. I was right, they looked more professional and my clients agreed. I now use them for our homemade extract and coffee liqueur bottles. They're easy to seal with a heat gun, but make sure you press down on them the first time you apply heat so they start to shrink. Otherwise they can rise slightly and not look right. The only downside in my opinion is the price. Iโ€ฆ

Cons

Highly recommend this quality product

Highly recommend this product! I simply filled my wine bottle with liqueurs or my choice, then cut the cork in half before putting it back in (makes it easier to get in) and then put one of these caps on top. I used the hair dryer on a low setting. Slowly rotate the bottle and blow dry the bottom of the cap first. It takes a minute for the hat to heat up and shrink. Be patient! There will be creases at first, but don't worry! Keep warm while inverting the bottle and the creases will be smoothed

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I will add later

Works well when heated properly

Newbie home winemakers who finally got around to adding them for aesthetic reasons. First try: hair dryer. Result: Ha! Nice try. Second attempt: immerse the inverted bottle in boiling hot water according to the instructions provided. Result: scalded. The capsule eventually compressed, but not very lightly and unevenly. (Also, if you try it this way, stick the labels on after this step or you risk running the ink.) Third try: Real heat gun (the type you use to remove paint, etc.) Result: BINGOโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

Worked on a carnival cruise. It takes some practice to get it right.

We did a carnival cruise and it worked for us. Although for some strange reason they didn't even bother to check any of our bottles and just let us through when boarding. I guess they were too busy that day and didn't have time to check the bottles. But we made our bottles PERFECTLY, so I think we did a lot more work than we should have done. Either way, it takes some practice to get it right. My advice is to bring a pot of water to a boil and then dip them in the water while it's stillโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some mistakes
