We did a carnival cruise and it worked for us. Although for some strange reason they didn't even bother to check any of our bottles and just let us through when boarding. I guess they were too busy that day and didn't have time to check the bottles. But we made our bottles PERFECTLY, so I think we did a lot more work than we should have done. Either way, it takes some practice to get it right. My advice is to bring a pot of water to a boil and then dip them in the water while it's still simmering. But don't let it touch the hot pan at the bottom and don't submerge it for too long or those PVCs will crack/explode. It takes a few tries to get it right and don't worry if these PVC wraps look too big for your bottle because they will shrink when placed in boiling water. There are a lot of them, so don't worry if you mix up 5 or 6 of them to practice. Much luck!
