Good for the price. on Test, Measure & Inspect

Refractometer works reasonably well but the connections are very loose. The tolerances are not very tight, which makes the device cheap.

Economical style, best in testing, measuring and verifying

This refractometer gets the job done without paying those crazy prices. Don't think it won't work properly because it's cheap. it does. The case is good, I use it. It even comes with a dropper, which I still use. There is a small space in the case to use the adjustment screwdriver. that's a good deal.

Pros
  • Refractometer
Cons
  • Very Expensive

I love this product. It's significantly cheaper than comparable refractometers, but very accurate (I've compared it to my LFS, which is "brand name") and calibrated lab reference solutions (I have a chemistry lab at work). I'm fed up with my "floating pointer". An SG gauge (Fluval's brand name), mainly because it needs to be perfectly aligned for accurate readings, but also because algae builds up in it and cannot be cleaned. This suction cup gives me instant, accurate reading with no…

Pros
  • Check, measure and inspect
Cons
  • So far so good
