Cutting and drilling stainless steel is not easy. This hole saw cut through my 3mm stainless steel cooker as if it were plastic. It turned out a nice round hole. I recommend this product 100%. The only problem was my fault - I bought the saw exactly sized for the valve I was installing. This means the hole was too small. Hand feeding SS is not easy. I should have bought the 20mm version. Operator error does not saw.

I've drilled a few dozen holes in the 316 stainless steel tubing and it's still as sharp as when I started. I use it on a drill press and my work is clamped so it can't move. I run it at 300rpm with constant pressure and no coolant and it just chews through. I don't do many reviews unless something is really outstanding or really terrible. These are definitely the stars. Can't wait to get additional sizes for other projects now that I know how well they work.
