Review on πŸ’ͺ Durable Carbide Cutter: Heavy Stainless Steel - Achieve Precise Cuts with Ease by James Trapkin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You surprised me! Best in Hole Saws

Required to punch a hole in a 22 ga SS sink for an optional faucet. As an apprentice mechanic for over 40 years, I didn't want to spend money on a one-off tool, but I didn't want to spend a tool on a one-time job either. Knowing carbide would get the job done but skeptical of such a cheap tool, I figured what the heck and ordered it. I dry cut the hole with no lube or coolant and it went through with little effort. The hole size was good, minimal burr on the side of the puncture and best of all, there was no wear on the tool! Still amazingly sharp. I will buy a different size or this one again if I have to. good tool. It's cheaper than branded HSS hole saws and I think they work better. I've burned a few of these in the past.

Pros
  • Smooth cuts with great results
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
