They will not fit 1999 F150

They will not fit '99 F150. They continue but are not fixed; they are about 1/2 inch too narrow. That's probably why others say they fall off. I bought these and returned them for OxGord which fit perfectly.

YOU WILL LOSE IT! - Tires and Wheels

After 3 purchases I found that there was a design flaw in the 'lug holes' as I had lost all 3 despite the initial snug fit. The original hubs from my truck have different "stud grips" and never fall off. Very disappointed that I bought and lost all 3.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unreliable

They asked for my VIN number to make sure it was correct.

This product was an OEM part I needed to install existing wheel hubs on a 1998 Ford F150 Lariat truck. Although prices were slightly higher than other non-OEM parts, there was no guarantee they would fit my existing wheel hubs.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons

if you like chasing things flying off the truck.

2 dropped within the first week of installation. I had to pull over to the curb to pick them up then found 2 clips were missing. waste of money! Would ask for a refund but I'm sure they would just repackage and resell them. Not worth the hassle or the price!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Compatibility

I have to say don't buy this product.

Only holds when tabs are bent. I spent a few minutes trying to get it right. From falling into mine to not lasting. It turned out perfect, I thought. Flew away on my first road trip and never found again. 1 star for price and 1 for looks.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • boring packaging

Took an hour before flight

There's just something wrong with these cheaper caps. You just won't stay under any circumstances. This lasted less than an hour before it took off. I tried two different sets, ended up with 3 out of 8. This one was hoping to replace the one I'm missing. Well, I'm missing one more. I think you get what you pay for. If I buy maybe 3 sets I can get 4 of these to stay.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Very expensive

Brilliant chrome but plastic

So you can't expect much more than chrome on plastic these days. I lost a hubcap when I switched from winter tires to summer tires. I have found that I have bought a set of 4 of them in the past. They seem to be working just as well as the last one I had. One of the categories of the "Overall Rating" is "Stretching". They don't stretch. Either they fit or they don't. In the past I've learned to take a pair of pliers and bend the curved tongue toward the opening to allow for a tighter fit. Seems

Was HAPPY until the second fell off.

Below is my original 5 star review where I mentioned buying a second one. The second lasted several weeks. So I'm downgrading my rating a bit. The first one I bought is still working after 4 months. I have a 20 year old car. Lost 4 OEM hubs in the last 10 years. They've always been replaced with OEM hubs for about $30 each. Last time I ordered this product for 1/3 the price. A little hesitant due to some negative reviews. 1 frequent topic - falls off almost immediately. I've worn it in various…
