The bars I received are not 5mm. Using a micrometer showed them closer to 5.1. When working to tight tolerances, this deviation plays a role. Otherwise the quality seems acceptable.

I'm having trouble finding a hard linkage set. Mine kept flexing and causing all sorts of weird behaviors. They worked great, very stiff and even lighter than the ones I used.

Very stiff along the length, punctured at 500mm. There is a slight curvature along the entire length, but visually it looks like maybe 0.5mm or so at worst. Holes not centered. Buy a carbon fiber rod (not tube) and drill it yourself if you need precision. The surface texture is even. Specifications: Average weight is 7g per stick, +/- 0.2g. The outer diameter is 4mm +/- 0.05. The inner diameter is 1.9 mm (minimum wall thickness off-centre 0.8 mm).
