2005 Trx 400 ex no longer works. The replaced carburetor worked like a charm. Starts immediately and stays idle. While pro advice will simply spend more and replace the throttle cable while you're at it, it's only helping you in the end.

My factory carburetor was pretty uncomfortable after sitting all summer. Twisted, gas cable misaligned, everything is fine. We ride almost every day at this time of year.

Works right out of the box, only a small gas adjustment required. The clamps on the fuel lines are quite cheap, I replaced them with factory clamps. Otherwise it works great. Great value, almost as cheap as buying a recovery kit but saves you tons of time!

At first the product seemed decent. Swapping out the injectors for my stock carburetor was easy and it fits the 400ex perfectly. However, after installing the gas tank, I found that the fuel feed line on this carburetor is much larger than on the stock carburetor and fuel cutoff sensor. It is what it is, a cheap carburetor, but you have to know what you're doing to handle it. Don't get me wrong, my 400EX is working great now, but I had to take it apart and put it back together properly. First, none of the injectors are marked with a number.
