Not a direct replacement

Yes, it seems. Yes, it is correct. BUT there is no way it will work the same way. I've tried fitting factory size injectors as others have suggested. Do not go. Apparently, the air nozzles are different sizes and not interchangeable. Should have spent more money on a factory kit.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Flimsy

Plug and Play: Carburetor

Plugged in and the 2002 400ex caught fire straight away, need a little venting due to mods but worked great straight out of the box. The fuel line is bigger but easy to fix, all looked fine, should last a long time. Update, stupid float needle always sticks, took it apart a few times.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

400ex Fits Just Right - Motorcycles and Powersports

This is what my 400ex has needed since I bought it. All I had to do was replace the main jet. It came with a 140, I used a main jet from a Kiehn carb which was a perfect fit. The propeller was 1 Β½ turns. I turned it another half turn. Never in my life has a quad run so well. Great product πŸ‘Œ

Works but probably not worth the headache!

I received my first carburetor with a broken part, sent it back and asked for a new one, thinking it was just an accident. Then I got a second one with the same broken part but it wasn't that bad so I decided to just take care of it. As for the installation on my 03 400EX, it was basically plug and pay except for the fuel line. The fuel inlet on this carburetor is larger and will require some modification to allow the line to fit the tank inlet and this carburetor port without twisting the line

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Small things

2006 TRX 400EX best in parts

Installed a new MOTOKY carburetor on my recently purchased 2006 Honda TRX 400EX. I got it cheap because the previous owner had problems with the carburetor. Spent hours fixing the stock carburetor but had broken parts. Definitely put a new carburetor in and it started right away. Had trouble getting stuck on a test drive so decided I had to pump. After I removed the airbox, I saw again that the air flap was on. Thought it was the other way around. Reassembled and everything worked perfectly…
