Carburetor worked perfectly for my 1985, needs stock idle adjustment. As some have said, the filter doesn't quite fit, but as long as it works while I wait for the right one (which is screwed into the airbox).

Almost stupid to take apart an old carburetor, clean it and buy a repair kit for it. You take this carburetor, put it on and you drive. Simple, easy and good results. If you can, just find one for your application and buy it. saves time and money.

It has captive nuts instead of studs and is not suitable for mounting on the Honda intake manifold. The air filter also does not correspond to the Honda size specified in this product description. The lower half of the bowl and faucet were usable, but the carburetor and air filter were not.

I could only fit one nut, I had to remove the union nut that came with the kit. The other side was blocked by a piece of the carburetor, the nut could not be put on. The fuel shut-off valve was pointed toward the cylinder head, allowing the fuel line to melt and cause a fire. I was able to rotate it 180* to flip it the other way. Okay, the air filter wasn't made specifically for the airbox on my 1985 Honda 125 trx, but with a little gorilla tape better than an old one rag that I used before. I honestly had no idea how worn out my old carburetor was.
