Disappointed with this and as I have used a distributor from this I cannot return it. The carburetor was awful and leaked, over-throwing and flooding it. I had to take it off and just clean my original carburetor and the quad worked perfectly again. I would not recommend this product. My ATV was a 1996 Yamaha Kodiak 400.

Tried everything but the float at the bottom of the carburetor never rose high enough to cut off the fuel and this resulted in a constant leak from everywhere. From what I've read this is a fairly common problem with aftermarket carburetors. Bought another one from a second source on Amazon and had no other issues.

There were several manifold adapters to match the engine. Was not connected to the factory air cleaner connection, but otherwise the carburetor worked very well. Order a secondary air filter and discard the airbox. For the price it's a solid replacement and runs/idles great.

Would give it 5 stars based on how cheap it was if it weren't for two things: 1. The main jet was dangling in the threads (not a big deal, always good to check). 2. The nut on the double ended bolt connecting the carburetor to the cylinder head was too big. You will need to purchase 2 new stainless steel hex head screws instead. just small details like this, but no big deal.

I like that it comes with multiple nozzles, you will need them. The one in the carburetor was not marked, but the others included were marked. Came with the largest jet installed, wouldn't start, too rich, stalled on acceleration. Then he used the smallest one, which wobbles and doesn't run. The center jet lets it run and idle, but it's still full. I would like to know where you can buy injectors in stock. The original carburettor injectors have a different thread.

You get what you pay for I have a 1988 Yamaha Moto-4 35" Yes it supports 4 wheels but something is wrong because no matter what I want it idles at high speed, which again I can't do, but it works in high, low or reverse, while it works it has to be cut off to put it in those that could be a throttle cable and one will go in Been here a week but low price equals problems this works for me because I know I don't have a new four wheeler so I'm happy with that, no problem with waterlogging
