A very good tool. best in engine tools

This is a good tool - glad I got the steel one and not the cheaper cast iron ones that are also available. It worked, but it was still nearly impossible to break the bolt. I think there is a Lisle hammer head for this job that I will try if I ever have to do this job again.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • concise manual

Absolutely necessary for toothed belt work.

I wish all cars had this crankshaft pulley. Worked the timing belt on my 08 foot Ridgeline and is the only way to keep the motor from turning when the pulley bolt is turned. It could probably be used to remove it as well, but those screws are so tight it's a lot safer. Use an impact wrench for this job.

Pros
  • Easy to handle
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

In a world of tool interchangeability, this tool lacks full communication between manufacturers. For other suitable machine parts follow the spare parts from other manufacturers. End users may not have the equipment to deal with the problems you create. For example, I have the skills to finish this tool to work with this application, removing the Acura crankshaft balancer bolt.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • unreliable

This was a good quality item. He's doing exactly the job he's supposed to do. However, our crank bolt was so tight that we risked breaking our breakers. The handles just bent, but the objects didn't move. So we switched to a Craftsman impact wrench. It didn't help. Even with 125psi and a set of shock bushings. It wasn't until we tried Lisle's thick-walled crank head that the bolt broke. Thanks to the special Lisle bushing, the sag is very small, and every hit of the blow is transmitted directly

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Nice tool but you need additional tools to get the job done

This is a well made tool. You'll need a 1/2" x 18" or 24" breaker to hold it in place. I use a Neiko 1/2" x 24". If you're changing Honda timing belts with this tool, you'll also need one good 19mm socket Go through the center of this tool These screws are VERY difficult to get out so I use a 3/4" deep DeWalt impact socket https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ B01N7F3Z73/ ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1This tool is perfect. You will also need 20" extensions and a 24" breaker to…

Pros
  • Sleek design
