Description of πŸ”Œ Cardinal Gates Cord Safety 3-Wraps, Transparent

Keeps cords from window blinds and shades out of a child's reach and pet's paws. Easy to install-needs no hardware, no screws. Attach to any surface: glass, metal, wood, plastic. Compact, neutral design complements any decor. Meant only for use with ratcheting (self-latching) blinds.

Really cool! I took note of the reviewers who said it might ruin your wood or walls and I actually put it on the top of my window. It works GREAT and you don't have to worry about any damage! I had two windows that had constant problems with their blind cords and this completely solved the problem. Yes, they take a lot of time to wind up, but I can handle that, and even my kids manage it without sagging, so that's a big plus. You must have fun! LOL I can sleep over the blinds now!

Pros
  • Door and stair gate
Cons
  • Cable shorter than other options

Just a temporary stick

I bought them back in December. They were great while they lasted. It's early June and all six have detached themselves from the walls, taking the paint with them. They were good for almost 6 months but are now unusable. They only hang from a half-coiled cord, which is another enticing thing for my little one to grab. I didn't want to buy the ones that screw into the wall, although you could theoretically remove them when you no longer need them. Since the paint is already damaged, I will buy…

Pros
  • baby products
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great, but we need two per window!

I bought these because when we moved into our new golf course home we didn't want to close our blinds and block the great view, but the cords on the blinds were insanely long even after I resized them and cut off as much excess as possible. I didn't want to buy film to screw into my beautiful woodwork around my windows. We chose these overlays. My husband had the idea of installing two of these and mounting them high up under the blinds just above the window pane where you wouldn't see them…

Pros
  • Security
Cons
  • Not the best
