Description of πŸ’ͺ Cardone 20-860 Remanufactured Power Steering Pump - No Reservoir, High-quality Performance

As a remanufactured Original Equipment part, this unit guarantees a perfect vehicle fit. Parts lost bearing

Front bearing on input shaft has too much play. It's only a matter of time before the seal begins to leak. They need to tighten quality control standards.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

The item was defective. It cost me extra money.

The part was defective. The withdrawal cost me extra money. I had to buy a new one. I will never buy a power steering pump from Revain again.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Cheap repair junk good for pumps

Made a replacement but since I installed it (about 6 months ago) it has gotten worse. It now offers little to no performance increase at low speeds. No dirt in the system as the previous Saginaw pump simply sheared off the shaft. Avoid this pump.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Defective parts cost everyone time and money

The pump I received was defective. Big play on the shaft, apparently the bearings are worn out. Makes a lot of noise, howling sound. I've been a mechanic for over 30 years and this was the worst "restored" car I've ever bought.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style

Pump is a great way to save money in the garage!

Well, the pump "pulley puller" must be there, but there are no operating instructions inside! So take my word for it, you can't use the "Push Bolt" hotkey twist button to trigger a pull! You must use a short/long shaft that fits the pump shaft or it will not hold onto the pulley. This bar holds the "clam shell" so it can grip the pulley.

Pros
  • Noble design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Garbage. whining like crazy.

Junk. Whining more than my old one. I primed and bled it before installing it like I've done with hundreds of other P/S pumps (I'm an auto tech) but this thing just whines like crazy. That's when I knew it was better to buy a cordon as they have a good reputation for litter production, but I needed it fast so I took a chance. I would send it back but not worth the hassle. Apart from some crazy whining, everything works fine so far.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord shorter than other picks
