Faulty Brake Booster Ruined My Ride

When I tried this replacement brake booster it was clear that it was remanufactured with little care .It didn`t provide the performance boost i was looking for and seemed to fail soon after installation..

Master cylinder bolts too short

Re: Cardone brake booster ordered for a 1986 Corvette C4. This rebuilt assembly looked great on arrival and appeared to be an excellent remanufactured product identical to the original. bolted everything in place (which is no easy task anyway) and found that the master cylinder mounting studs were long enough to thread the nuts about 2/3 in (using a stock 1986 PBR MS). Feel happy tightening the nuts, with the very likely risk of ripping them off - or, at worst, jumping on the brakes and pushing

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • High price
