Excellent Master Cylinder for Brake System

This master cylinder is a game changer for my brakes in my performance car. As my tests showed, the stopping power is unprecedented and the level of precision cannot be beaten. The design is sleek and compact, making it easy to install. The only downside is that it is a bit pricier than other options on the market.

Pros
  • Unprecedented stopping power and precision, sleek design, easy to install
Cons
  • A bit pricier than other options on the market

good price for a new non rebuilt

This was used on a 1977 Corvette. The brake system had to be overhauled and required a new brake master cylinder. That's a good price for a new device. The price for this was about the same for refurbished ones. One thing I learned is that flushing the brake system is very important and will prevent these parts from failing. Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time and should be flushed with good quality brake fluid every few years. I used Dot 4 synthetic brake fluid.

Pros
  • Spares
Cons
  • Something else
