Didn't fit and arrived damaged.

Be careful and do your own research. I ordered these for my 03 Sequoia. One fits, but the passenger side is short. Both boxes were late and the items were damaged.

Works as described

At the time of writing this review I have only completed work on the passenger side of my truck. I still have to change the transmission oil and check the front axles, but everything seems to be holding up well.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some minor issues

OK, not new, seals damaged on arrival.

I think they will work fine although I have 2 problems with them, they are clearly not new and when shipped the box does not meet the requirements to protect the dust seal on the shaft so they can break and deform, forcing me to order replacement seals and install them on "new" shafts.

Pros
  • test for one year
Cons
  • not reliable

Good except for minor damage

I didn't need this axle in the end but I just rebuilt a factory Toyota drive axle myself and really helped so put it on the shop shelf when I need it. Looks like a pretty decent axle except the cup trim ring is dented in many places so I straightened it out with channel locks as best I could before installing it.

Pros
  • Great workmanship
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Just disappointed

Pretty disappointing. I've installed many, many CV axes in my life, but this is the first one that not only doesn't work, it spins like crazy. I don't have a stereo good enough to hide this noise. A big pain indeed when you have to do this job all over again with a different axis. 121 degrees this week in Phoenix. Thanks Cardone for the really bad quality control. Yes I will go back and buy a different brand.

  • Impressive
Cons
  • Reliability

Stick to OEM, NOT aftermarket

After receiving the items I was able to state that they were not 'new'. The neoprene rubber is new but everything else has been used. I installed them however, right after installation they started to vibrate very badly to the point where my gas mileage dropped quite a bit, my mirrors looked like they were about to fall off. I fixed the old ones, I completely remade and reinstalled them myself. Now I only stick with OEM shafts and not the aftermarket, no matter how convincing the low price is.

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • Basically OK, but...
