I purchased this item on 26th January 2017 and it is now leaking power steering fluid. I have to pay someone else to replace it.

Everything was great - packaging, no leaks, o-ring kit etc. I installed it, filled it with fluid and the appropriate one Unit vents procedure and new fluid. However, this pump howls for a few seconds upon startup and then sounds normal. Sometimes I also hear a faint whine when driving. Fluid level is good.
