Great base riff!

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Excellent light pored breed. I have used this stone for two previous reef builds. After 3 years in an aquarium with corals and coral outgrowths, the breed is still stable. It does not dissolve or crumble. It has enough jagged edges to form stable piles of natural stones. I used JD water welding and silicone on this stone to attach it to the platforms and it held tight without breaking. Drilling is fun. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some small things

Great product for fish and aquatic life

These stones are great! We received three large pieces and are very happy with them. They look great and compared to the $6-7 a pound we pay locally this price is fantastic. The pictures show three white stones (1) top left, (2 and 3) right. As other people have pointed out they are not very well protected in transit but in my case only 3 or 4 small pieces (less than a silver dollar) were broken off. I will be buying a few more when we expand our new 125 gallon tank.

  • Free for educational purposes

Customer For Life Good For Decorative Stones

I just started a 10 gallon Nano Fowlr marine aquarium. I have 10 pounds of life and 15 pounds of bedrock. About a week before dosing the bottle of Bio-Spira, I started feeding the aquarium every other day. I've been in my tank for 3 weeks now and the ammonia, nitrate and nitrite levels are where they should be. I do 2 1/2 gallon water changes every 3-4 days and add about a gallon ro/di every other day due to evaporation. very impressed with how this kick started the cycle.

  • Sturdy Construction

This is the way!

Amazing value for money: pest free and easy to work with. I ended up with three huge pieces that were fairly easy to break open with a hammer and a flat head screwdriver. With this stone I was able to create a great piece for my 3g Marineland Outline. This is a great stone to work with, sure for your aquarium (whether it's SW or FW) and I prefer it over anything. If you have a small fish tank, you definitely need to disassemble it because it looks like boulders when you first get it. Don't let…

HOLY COW AMAZING

Good. So I don't really write many reviews, but in this case I absolutely have to. I recently bought a 20 gallon aquarium and wanted to do something more organic. For about 2 seconds I thought about going the DIY route, but while digging I came across a seabed rock. which I thought would be perfect. I've seen some rave reviews now but I was really determined that if I could get 2-3 decent sized rocks I'd be happy. Well I was definitely surprised when they were delivered! Got 4 awesome rocks…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Very expensive

Received today and bought £20 and although it was lighter than I thought it was a choice of sizes and shapes. The stone is beautiful and arrived in perfect condition. I bought a rock drill bit to drill through them to insert fiberglass rods into them to hold them together in my reef tank, but they are so porous I'm not sure I would need to drill them. It looks like there are multiple holes to put my rod through (laughs). I won't know until I get an opportunity to work on the aquascape but…

  • An absolute legend

i work in an aquarium shop and i have to say i am still very impressed with this batch of stones. It was a great price for a dry stone. I soaked it in a 5 gallon bucket of dechlorinated water for about 24 hours so it wouldn't get overly dusty when added to my aquarium. Worked like a charm and was already seeing improved nitrate levels and more room for good bacteria. I'm definitely hesitant to add anything from the web, but would recommend it as a great way to add bulk to your dry/live rock…

I love these stones in my 20g freshwater tank. Just like dwarf shrimp!

I bought these stones for a 20 gallon freshwater aquarium. I've always liked the look of these freshwater stones. I'm sure they will take on a very cool natural look over time. Preparatory work: When received, they were covered with stone dust due to normal delivery conditions. First, I sprayed them one at a time in the sink for a few minutes. Then, every 24 hours, I would completely submerge them in a 5 gallon bucket soaked in Seachem Prime. After the first 24 hours I sprayed each stone again,
