Disappointing Gravel, Poor Quality Substrate

I recently purchased a substrate from this brand for my aquarium decor. Pet supplies can sometimes be tricky to choose, but I thought this product might work well due to its decent reviews. However, thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that it falls short. The color and texture are unconvincing, and there were too many small pieces mixed in, causing the aquarium filter to clog. The only pro is that it is inexpensive, but the low quality just isn't worth it.

Pros
  • Provides essential nutrients for aquarium plants to thrive and grow.
Cons
  • May require frequent water changes due to initial cloudy water and high ammonia levels.

Good product at Fish & Aquatic Pets

I like this product I have used it before but this time when I received my eco kit the box was soaked and damp the product bag was in one Zipped flash pouch. eco full was dry, not very satisfied

Pros

Cons
  • Doubt

Algae magnet in the gravel

Looks good at first, but is quickly picked up by algae in all the little pits and crevices in the rock. Cleaning the pool and adding algae solution a few times a week didn't make any difference. In the end I threw it away and went on with regular substrate. It's complete rubbish and outrageously expensive, don't waste your time or money.

Pros
  • Long range
Cons
  • Can damage
