Worked great on the braking system

Exactly what I needed. Used on the 9" rear wheel in 59 Thunderbird. The original didn't have self-alignment. It turned it into this one. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Good but not great

Complete sentence. - Brake system

I bought a kit from Rockauto and it was missing the self adjusting hardware. This set has it all and is of good quality. For reference, I have an '89 F-150, 300 I6, C-6 Auto, 4WD, Ford 8.8 rear, open, 3.08 gears.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great for overhauling rear drums

perfect for 96 F150 XL 4.9 There are no installation issues, all springs are good quality and there were even a few extra drum plugs. Fairly easy to install but I would recommend buying or borrowing the proper spring tools, doing it with a screwdriver and a vise was almost doable but frustrating and probably dangerous. You can simply reuse the old one.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Sad gear

Perfect fit for 70 F100 and note for owners of a 1997 Ford F150

Perfect fit for drums on my 70 F100 9" rear. Very glad to have the new self adjusters in this kit, especially as ordered separately self adjusters would be as expensive as the whole kit I've noticed some bad reviews from people who had 1997 F150's and here's why: F150 for '97 One looks the same as '96 up trucks (9th gen as "Old Body Style" or OBS) and the other looks the same as '98-later (Generation 10) trucks. Both are 1997 (they are NOT 1997 and 1997 1/2) as they were both produced at the…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
