Works great for calipers and parts

They work great. My Dodge pickup had severe front brake wear. The pads only touched half of the rotor. When I took it apart I found that the pins had never been lubricated. I replaced them with these and now my brakes work great.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • old

Mercedes did not fit

They were listed as direct deliveries for my 2006 Mercedes-Benz S430. They do not fit. The thread on these pins has a diameter of 9mm. OEM pins are 8mm in diameter. Otherwise, they look of acceptable quality for someone else's car.

Pros
  • Stable results in testing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Used to overhaul front and rear brake calipers.

Used to rebuild front and rear brake calipers on a 2005 MINI Cooper S with non-brand brakes. There's nothing fancy about these guides, but they're inexpensive and work well. What is there to complain about?

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Expensive

They fit perfectly and are tightened with a 7mm Allen key. Someone must have previously replaced the slide pins on my machine as the ones that came out were 7/32" hex. I wasn't sure if they would work. The diameter is identical and it's nice to have a heavier and rustproof 7mm pin compared to the old aftermarket pins waiting for the next service. Bought two sets for the price it's worth having backups for the next brake tweak.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Negative included

LOW-QUALITY BRAKE PARTS

that will NOT match the quality of the standard caliper bolts. The steel is soft and they are badly stamped. If you compare the original part you will see that the head is not tapered but lies flat over the hex hole. I buy parts for my Jaguar precisely because I want the components to work as intended. This need will never be satisfied if every part is of poor quality. Carson should change his slogan from "Quality Brake Parts" to "Low Quality Brake Parts".

Pros
  • doping 🔥
