🐶 Carlson Pink Small Dog Crate: Secure, Compact, and Metal Single Door Enclosure Review

Not very durable. We had to pack part the first time because it cut my husband's hand. The latch holding the tray will not stay in place. We had to modify it and build something into the door to hold it in place. Then she was able to bend the wire on the cage door and tried to get out. I would not recommend this cage for anything bigger and stronger than a Chihuahua!

Great box for my two bitches. This cage is comfortable for one, but can easily accommodate two small dogs. I have a 12 lb dog and a 10 lb dog and they fit perfectly in this cage. The door lock works smoothly and easily. The extendable tray is a handy feature, especially if you have short arms and want to clean the tray. I am including photos of my dogs so you can get an idea of their size and how they fit comfortably in this cage.

I loved the first one so much I bought another one so I didn't have to carry it from the kitchen to the bedroom, although I originally bought it because it was light. Well made and great price. First of all the color of the box is beautiful, it matches my Frenchie perfectly and is incredibly easy to assemble. However, almost all joints are sharp and pointed. Those who are at the door are most concerned. The photo I've attached shows a sharp piece of metal sticking out of a door. I had to file all the joints until they were smooth and I could feel comfortable knowing my dog wouldn't cut himself getting in and out of the crate. Excellent, collected quickly. You literally just unfold it. Pepto-Bismol color is pink, fastened with metal clips. I brought pliers to one to see how strong they were and I couldn't manipulate them at all; wanted to make sure my 5kg pup was safe and secure. You can't pull the pot out from below, you have to lift it up through the door. It doesn't really have a panless bottom, the wire bottom isn't as tight as the wire on the rest of the kennel.
