Perfect for walking

I wasn't sure because everyone's height is different. We had a baby gate with a pet door but our corgis always walked through! So we wanted something with a smaller door and thought it might work because of the dog pictured. It is 18 inches tall. It is ideal for hiking. The twist lock and pin make it easy to remove from the entrance. The pet door measures 9" x 9". My 36 pound pal could get through this if he went lower than without the last baby gate. I thought we were defeated! We didn't want…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Useless features

Exactly what we needed!

We bought this gate to replace our regular gate which our new pup wanted to go through! It arrived on time and was the cutest thing I've ever seen! Love the extra gear it has so we don't have to constantly lift it over the gate when we want it in the room. They are made from the same strong metal as our other large gates and I have just ordered a second one because we love them so much! The price is also a huge plus as we've spent hundreds of dollars on countless baby gates over the years! Our…

Cat food is SAFE! YAHU!

This is amazing! Cat food is out of reach for our two mini Aussies and I can step over the gate without fear of falling. I'm small (5ft) so stepping over the gate wasn't my favorite activity for fear of snagging my leg and falling. My dogs can get through the cat gate - I tempted them with treats from the other side after installing the gate to see if they could get through and yes they could. This is normal as the gate is low enough for Zoe and Casanova to jump over. We open the door at night…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No benefit

Poor lock design, ineffective fasteners

I've used many types of folding pet gates in my home over the years, but removed them after my dogs were trained and trusted that they could move around without a permit stay out of restricted areas. Sometimes I still need to put up a temporary barrier though, so I figured this low gate to "walk through" might be a good choice - not much. Black "bumps" on sides touching wall, about 4 inches from bottom and 3 inches from top; My base shape is taller than this which meant the top bar didn't touch

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Hard to tell
