Works great. I have the 85 lb coils and they are loud. When I first met him I thought they had blown. only loud. Next time I'll use the 35lb spools.

Works as described, very easy installation, instructions clear and simple, no problems. Just follow the instructions, it really is that simple.

Wiring for remote controls was a terrible direction. So when I got the doors working I had a box of extra parts that I think I can get some of my money back for.

I think they're ok. I assume they work as advertised. The instructions did not match the product. Basically the instructions were just for the solenoid

I have replaced some of the old types of wellies with this one. Over time the rubber hardened and weakened the already weak product I was using. I should have bought that first. They have adjustable strength and plenty.

A little tricky to install on my Bronco but works great so far. There isn't much wiring in the kit other than the relay pigtails, fuse holders and wiring for the remote receiver. You must provide your own. Edited September 26, 2021: After about 6 months of minimal use, the driver's door relay started giving me problems. I replaced it with a heavy duty relay and so far everything is fine. cheap relays.

Bought this for my husband's 1949 Chevy. As others have said, the wiring part can be tricky. My husband installed it and programmed the remotes and now one of the door springs isn't working. We installed this for several weeks. Contacting the seller is pointless, they will not help. My only option is to give back. So basically cut the wiring hours and dismantle the doors. Right now I'm cutting my losses. Just do not. Not worth the hassle and frustration!

The solenoids appear to be very solid and work well. I can't think of a latch they couldn't pull hard enough. They often pop when activated, so make sure your cable isn't too short or you'll bend or break the locking lever. Spring-loaded latches seem cheap, but are strong enough to open heavy firebird doors about an inch when the latch is released. I put them on the back of the door just below the latch.
