Caron Simply Soft Tweeds Yarn 5 oz - Off White - Medium Weight - Best Buy Online Review

I love Simply Soft Crochet, especially for babies. I'm new to knitting and was afraid it might tear a little but it doesn't. I'm working on a Tunisian knit blanket for my son (some stripes are crocheted, some are knitted) and I needed a yarn that is lightweight, boyish and durable. That's great. I like little bits of tweed texture. I will probably order more and maybe some cream type to make him hats/scarves for winter.

Heavy duty yarn. Each strand comes in its own plastic packaging. The only problem with the yarn is that a small piece of yarn about 2 feet long got tangled in the skein so pulling the yarn out of the inner thread stopped as that piece of yarn had to be unraveled. Hope this was a one time thing. Love the creamy white color with brown highlights. The yarn itself is quite soft. Ideal for baby skin and anything worn around the neck. I bought 4 skeins and I am generally happy with this product.

I bought it as a Christmas present. The yarn is very soft and easy to knit with. I used it on a knit lapgun and it had a very nice drape, it wasn't too heavy to be uncomfortable in the Florida heat and it looked nice. My only complaint was that the strands sometimes came off while working, so I had to be careful with that. Overall I highly recommend this yarn for hats, scarves, especially plaids. I would definitely buy it again. And as you can see from the photo, my kitty liked it too!

I just love Karon soft. With such a large weight, you can make a variety of items and everything will fit perfectly. It makes amazing mittens, it makes beautiful pillowcases and rugs with that texture. I used 18 skeins of this yarn to weave a blanket, the softness is amazing and just lovely. The quality is ok because in each ball there are very thin pieces and then after a few stitches the yarn gets so thick that it looks like a tangle.
