Just finished my fifth wash with these mittens. No problems with tangled hair or difficult maintenance. I used a combination of microfiber and sponge sold at Walmart. I always had to go back to the car when it was dry to redo areas that weren't cleaned well. This wool glove has enough fibers to thoroughly clean it in one go. I wish the mitten was a little cheaper, but when used properly in two-bucket mode, this mitten cleans the car without leaving scratches. Just use clean water, a good quality pH neutral soap (like Adams or Surf City Garage Professional) and two sand-proof buckets. Never dip a glove in the laundry bucket without first rinsing it thoroughly in the rinse bucket. I use two of these "Bad Boys" per wash, one for the top half of the car and one for the bottom half as that half is usually a lot dirtier.

This glove is great for washing my car. It fits my hand well when wearing rubber gloves and stays on when washed and rinsed in water. It also floats so it's convenient to move it over the top of the sink bucket to get sand and dirt on the bottom. It's comfortable and doesn't feel too heavy. The fibers are long and soft, so I'm sure they won't get scratched. Since this is wool, treat it well by rinsing it thoroughly. I try not to rub the fibers in all directions to avoid tangling.
