Sounds Bad: Spare Parts

Sounds Terrible. Doesn't sound like a classic ah-o-gah horn. Sounds like your starter is bad. It doesn't even come close to a horn.

Pros
  • Excellent Design
Cons
  • There Are Cons

horns for fun. best parts

My 1934 Frazer Nash kit needed a replacement horn. This is an AMAZING addition to my fun vehicle. I needed a harness to install and now it's a button horn (because the steering wheel doesn't have a central push button) and I love HOOMing passing drivers. Just loud enough.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

It's ok but not as expected

Named after the legendary ooh-gah horn which produces a loud and distinctive sound. However, it doesn't produce the sharp tone-breaking sounds you would expect. He just grunts out of a high low tone. It is also expected to be a chrome tube rather than a coated plastic tube. This may be the key to grunts, not sharp ooh gah.

Spare Scrap

This thing is complete junk. Small wires and brass connections - scrap. But what do you expect for the price? I had to replace both crappy brass connections on the pigtail wires. Doesn't look like a real horn. Let's see how long this lasts. The mounting screw and the plastic holder for the screw are also scrap. I used four straps to attach it.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Zero

Poor Poor quality Product

The product is made of very cheap materials. The one that was delivered to me had the plastic part of the horn already broken and cracked. The broken area was not in the active zone of the horn, so it was decided to leave it and install it. Within 5 beeps the horn sounded great. Then he died prematurely. I advise everyone against buying this product! That's a bad investment.

Terrible customer service

Horn stopped working after a few weeks. Checked all connections and fuses, all ok. I emailed this company and they wanted me to upload a youtube video to show it didn't work. Very strange. I emailed them again a few days ago, NO RESPONSE. Do not buy this product or from this company. They do not fulfill their guarantee.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Requires outlet
