Great little microscope for the price

Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right but overall this is a great little microscope for the price. We like to use it when hiking or in the park.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Very good for its size.

I liked that it goes well with my phones. Centering the eye takes some practice, and the focus knob is a little sloppy. Overall, I like the design and functionality of the product.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Speed

Great device, best in USB microscopes

Great little device. I've seen some complaints about the image being a small circle, but all I had to do was set my phone's camera to the maximum close-up setting and I was able to take a full frame shot. This allowed me to distinguish between fake and real pearls.

Pros
  • Feels good

I haven't used it, not that I haven't tried it.

I'm sorry I can't figure out how to use it. There are no nested directions. Maybe you can only use it on flat surfaces, I don't know. Maybe there would be a chance if they offered a stand to hold the phone with a microscope. I had to be on guard as the demonstration was only on sheets and paper bills.

  • Normal price

Great quality for viewing snow crystals

Wasn't expecting much for the price but works very well. Used to identify types of snow crystals to predict weaknesses in snowpack. A simple iPhone clip will help you take clear snow crystal shots. Tip: Be careful, your breath will fog up the lens. Keep it in a cold bag and take your breath away looking inside. This is probably a given for people used to judging snow crystals on a snow map.

Pros
  • Finally bought it

Costs money. My homeschooler loves to use it all the time.

If you are looking for a small microscope, for example for home schooling or just to spark a child's interest, this is a great deal. I found this out when someone in my Facebook homeschool group suggested this. But why not look. I was amazed at the price. My niece now likes to go outside and look at things. This works great with Apple and Galaxy phones. I'm not sure about other phones. It attaches to the side of the phone so that one side is over the camera lenses. I had an old Galaxy phone…

I wasn't a fan. for camera and photo

My experience started with the iPhone magnifier, terrible. Then I went back to my old school loupes from 10x to 40x. Decent enough but I'm getting older so I really need a brighter view. Read online how to use a magnifying glass with a phone and it was quite successful but it required 2 hands. I found this product and thought it would be perfect for freeing my hand. but i'm not impressed. You have to squeeze it tight to see anything and then it's still not very good. Also, I didn't think the…
