If you are looking for a small microscope, for example for home schooling or just to spark a child's interest, this is a great deal. I found this out when someone in my Facebook homeschool group suggested this. But why not look. I was amazed at the price. My niece now likes to go outside and look at things. This works great with Apple and Galaxy phones. I'm not sure about other phones. It attaches to the side of the phone so that one side is over the camera lenses. I had an old Galaxy phone that wasn't serviced and I keep it charged so she doesn't have to use my phone all the time. You can also take a picture of what you see. I wouldn't recommend this for a high school student, but junior high is a winner.
