Light works and attaches easily to book. The problem is that it doesn't put out enough light to help with reading at night. I am disappointed with the brightness of the light, I expected more.

I like this light. The first time I have used it in many years. However, when my second child was born, I used it as a night light, so I replaced the battery every 5 years. and I still have it strong.

I bought this lamp for my 8 year old bookworm to keep him up at night and wake up his little brother in the same bedroom. It is easy to turn on and off and attaches well to the book. Great value for a small book light!

This light is just what I needed to continue studying at night without disturbing my SO. It works great with my thick paperback textbooks. The clip can expand/open far enough to hold a paperback cover + up to 350 pages of my text (as shown in my attached photo) so it can stand securely with paperbacks.

Suitable as a table lamp. For the money it's made from quality materials and well packaged, but if you look closely at the top do you see that transparent ring around the outer edge? I found this too bright and distracting for an enjoyable read. There are two bulbs and they are glaring so I had to wrap some soft tape around them (I used floral tape) to hide that part and then it didn't bother me.
