Description of Carter M4434 Mechanical Fuel Pump

Built to meet or exceed OEM fit and reliability and 100% factory tested and approved. Ideal for vehicles with low pump pressure between 4 to 6 PSI. Less susceptible to contaminates because its located outside the fuel tank. In-Line pumps are driven by the camshaft, which effectively transfers fuel from the tank to the carburetor.

Does not meet OEM specifications for Chrysler Big Blocks!

The new version of this pump has 1/8 pipe threads on the outlet side instead of the reverse flare used on the Original Equipment Carter fuel pumps used on Chrysler Big Blocks. I had to use an adapter to reconnect the standard fuel line from the pump to the carburetor. Originality is worth points when used in a show car. Not restore correct replacement. The functionality is sufficient.
